Kate just wore a dress that a famous guest sported for the royal wedding - and we prefer it on her
Did you catch the adorable new photo of Prince Louis released by Kensington Palace last week?
The image shows proud grandad Prince Charles doting over his youngest grandchild, who's being held in his mum's arms.
It was the first time we'd seen little Louis since his christening in July and we got rather excited - so much so that we didn't even pay attention to Kate's outfit in the photo.
Look closely and you'll see that the Duchess of Cambridge is wearing a navy polka dot dress with a white Peter Pan collar and cuffs.
If it looks familiar, it's because we've seen it before in a royal context - the very same dress was worn by American actress Abigail Spencer to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding back in May.
Abigail, a friend of the bride's, accessorised her dress with a chic headpiece and belt and wore her hair in a neat up-do; ideal for the occasion.
We have to say we prefer the casual way that Kate wore hers, with her hair down and loosely curled.
The dress is by high-end brand Alessandra Rich and costs £1,750 (a little over €2,000).
It's something of a celebrity favourite - Ivanka Trump, Sarah Jessica Parker and supermodel Christie Brinkley have both been spotted in it too.
