Former Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière has been announced as the new artistic director at Louis Vuitton. The design house made the announcement on Twitter, tweeting “Louis Vuitton is thrilled to welcome Nicolas Ghesquière as artistic director of the women’s collections”. Although his appointment had been rumoured since Marc Jacobs stepped down in October, the news was only confirmed yesterday.
