If you're planning on wedding dress shopping anytime soon, there are a few things you might want to do first.

While you've probably been advised to research your favourite styles beforehand and keep a specific budget in mind, there's one tip you may not know about. This one comes courtesy of bridal designer Hayley Paige, the talent behind Suzanne Jackson's wedding dress FYI, who also has her own TLC show, Hayley Ever After The Dress. The thing about shopping for wedding gowns at the moment is that there is SO much choice, (detail, designer, fit and material), and of course, a final decision has to be made. In conversation with Cosmopolitan US, Hayley explained that you need to be prepared to 'commit' to a dress, which can be harder than you think.

"I don't mean to put pressure on the situation but go in with the hope that you're going to find something and have that special moment".

As Hayley explains, it's important to think you'll find your dream wedding dress because it's more likely to happen that way. You want to enjoy every minute and if you're stressing about it, it won't be the once in a lifetime experience it should be.

 "Make the most of your appointment so that it's a positive experience".
