Do you have one in your wardrobe?

The white shirt is a basic item that every woman needs but for some reason, it's often overlooked. This might have something to do with the fact that they're practically impossible to keep clean and almost always end up creased halfway through the day. However, the fact Victoria Beckham has given it her seal of approval might be about to change all that. In a recent interview with ELLE, the mother of four said that "shirts are her thing" and she has multiple options that "all look the same". Why? Victoria is of the opinion that "anything looks good with a white shirt" and to be fair, I'm in agreement.

Tailored black pants, dark denim jeans, a pencil skirt, culottes, floral midi skirt and the list goes on. The esteemed designer also said that one of the major advantages about the white shirt is the fact that you don't even need to think about what to put with it.

"You don't even have to think about it. Every woman should have that piece".

That's it, I'm reneging on trend-led pieces and am now on the search for the perfect white shirt that I will NOT allow to turn a dismal shade of washing machine grey.
