SoSueMe’s MUM almost stole the show in a stunning full-length rose skirt

Raising the mother-of-the-bride bar...

We haven’t stopped looking at pictures since they emerged yesterday.

The Her WhatsApp group went into a full blown meltdown yesterday when pictures of Suzanne Jackson’s wedding started appearing online, and to be honest, we haven’t talked about much else since.

The blogger married Dylan O’Connor on Saturday in Skerries and has been the talk of social media ever since thanks to the stunning gowns on display.

Yes, Suzanne did not disappoint when it came to the style stakes, BOTH of her dresses were total show stoppers.

The happiest day of my life! We did it….. ???? Mr & Mrs O’Connor ?????? Let the party commence! ? #sosuemewedding

However, it wasn’t just Suzanne who was looking gorgeous on the big day, her mother also set the bar pretty high.

People were eagerly awaiting pictures of the mother-of-the-bride, Susan, and thanks to onlookers, we’ve gotten a sneak peak at her gorgeous rose ensemble.

Pictured on the right-hand side of the photos below, the proud mum looked incredible in her rose floor-length skirt and matching jacket.

Susan also picked up her ensemble in the same place as the rest of the bridal party, Donegal’s McElhinney’s Bridal Rooms.

Describing the outfit, the bridal department said:

“Alongside the beautiful bride was Suzanne’s Mum Susan who also looked stunning and she too was dressed by McElhinneys Occasionwear Department in a bespoke soft dusky pink Fely Campo dress with matching gold baroque print jacket.”

Fely Campo is a Spanish designer that specialises in party dresses and occasionwear. The designer is said to use a mixture of feminity, seriousness and austerity in all of their designs to give way to elegant dresses.

Suzanne’s dad was also looking very dapper for the big occasion.

On Saturday morning, her proud former firefighter paramedic dad, Damien – who attended the ceremony in uniform – spoke of his pride for his eldest child.

“Today I give away my first born daughter,” he wrote, before adding: “I was the first man she seen, I was the first man she fell in love with, I was the first man to hold her hand, and I’m the last man to give away her hand in marriage to her new husband.

“Love you to the moon and back, you will always be my first born baby girl,”
