Spain’s Queen Letizia rivals Kate in the style stakes on London visit

Your move, Kate.

She’s basically the dancing lady emoji.

We’re big fans of Kate Middleton and her style choices here, but it looks like someone’s coming to take her (metaphorical) crown.

Spanish royals King Felipe and Queen Letizia are on an official visit to the UK at the moment, and we think its fair to say Letizia stole the show at Buckingham Palace last night.

She arrived at the Spanish state banquet in a stunning off-the-shoulder red gown by Madrid-based designer Felipe Varela and wearing her Fleur de Lys La Buena tiara.

Meanwhile, Duchess of Cambridge Kate donned a pale pink lace dress by British brand Marchesa for the occasion, reports The Independent.

Fashion-forward Spanish Queen Letizia is well-known for her sleek but understated style.

She and her husband will stay in the UK for two more days as part of the royal visit.
