Just last week we were faced with the shocking news that playing GAA is considered one of Irish men’s least sexy hobbies. (It’s safe to say team Her.ie does NOT agree)
This perception may be set to change very soon though, thanks to the latest line in GAA fashion.
Die-hard supporters know that fans of our national games wear their hearts on their sleeves and their crest, it seems, on their ass.
One UK company is expanding into the GAA market (quite possibly after being dazzled by our lads’ prowess on Sky Sports), and bringing a line of “Tackle Trunks” branded with county colours to our shelves.
The inventive underwear will be available to order from next week for the sum of £19.99. So whether you’d like to get your claws on a Kilkenny cat or raise The Banner for a Clare man, keep an eye on Optimum Sport for the launch.
Now all we need is for someone else to release a line for the ladies….
