The jean shape that’s going to be massive news for next season

Would you rock these?

Cropped flares.

If you don’t already own a pair, it might be time to invest because they’re going to be everywhere for autumn winter 2016.

Frayed hems are best when it comes to choosing a pair as you’ll get that cool distressed effect that looks so effortlessly cool.

Wear them with a tailored blazer, simple white t-shirt and mules/loafers for a simple yet stylish look.

Speaking to Who What Wear, Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur said:

“At Re/Done, we are selling crop flares really well.

“Also, our ’90s-inspired no-waist jeans are selling really well. The overall trend is still individuality”.

As for trends that are out this season, skinny jean lovers might be a little disappointed as they’re not as big this year.

Jonathan Crocker, Vice President of AG Jeans, says that this season it’s back to basics.

“While skinny jeans will always be a wardrobe staple, this season is about going back to the basics with more classic and relaxed fits.”

If you’re a fan of the crop and want to get on board, look out for styles that with a high-waisted shape.

These are more flattering and you can tuck a top/shirt into your jeans for a casual weekend look.

Here’s some cropped flare Insta inspiration.
