The sell-out Topshop dress that everyone was after last year is back – and in two new colours

Keeley Ryan

Last year, it seemed like everyone was talking about Topshop’s polka dot pinafore dress.

The midi-length dress was constantly sold out and became the ‘it style’ of 2018, with some people even taking to eBay in the hopes of getting their hands on it.

It was relaunched later in the year to include a colourful ’80s floral print and an animal print version – which, much like the original, sold out incredibly quickly.

Well, we’ve got some good news: the design is back for 2019 – and in two different colours.

The lace insert pleated pinafore dress comes in an ivory version and a black version. Both of them are already starting to sell out – fast.

The dress costs €98, so it’s a little pricier, but it is definitely one that we know we’ll get loads of wear out of this summer – and, really, a piece we’ll have in our wardrobes for years to come.

Plus, for any brides-to-be looking for a day two outfit, how gorgeous would the ivory version be?

Described as a “dress to own this season,” the classic summer dress won’t go out of style any time soon – and it would look fab with flats or heels.

The retailer have also released a similar version of the original dress which would be a perfect wedding guest outfit for this spring/summer – or any special occasion, really.

The black floral plunge pinafore dress costs €76 and has bright, colourful flowers throughout.

Topshop added:

“This ruffle all over floral tiered black pinafore dress is a floaty and fabulous number to take you into spring summer.”
