Understandably, you want your nearest and dearest to have the best day ever but part and parcel of that is remembering why the celebration is happening in the first place.
After all, it's your wedding and no one wants to look back and have regrets, thinking that you should have done various things differently.
Don't think you're alone in this either as this is something that happens many couples, through no fault of their own and they often end up wishing they had taken some time together to celebrate their special day.
Celebrity wedding planner David Tutera completely agrees with this too and reiterates how essential it is for the two getting married to actually spend time together.
In conversation with Brides.com, he said:
"What's been happening is couples separate to their friends and don't hang out with their significant other on their celebration. That's not good. That's something I am trying to force people to understand is incredibly important".
