Christmas party season is fast approaching and we are here for it.

Whether it's the annual office hooley or a reunion with your college pals, chances are you'll want a new gúna or three. We've already spotted a couple of gorgeous pieces, from Zara, Topshop and River Island but of course, we couldn't leave Penneys out. Having got in touch with the lovely ladies behind the scenes at our fave retailer, we have a little sneak peek at some of the fab pieces set to drop in stores over the coming weeks. The festive period is the perfect opportunity to don sequins and glitter galore but as this isn't the type of look that you'll get a huge amount of wear from, you don't want to spend the earth. Enter Penneys and these three fabulous looks. The Gold Plisse Dress is priced at €16 and it's the perfect length - not too short and not too long. All you have to do is pair it with black barely-there sandals for a stunning look. We're also big fans of the Velvet Stud Minidress (€18). Velvet is back this season, a repeat from autumn winter 2017 and if you didn't get involved last year, now is the time. Go bare-legged with knee-highs or wear with opaque tights and sock boots. So many options. Finally, the Bronze Chainmail Dress for €18. We love the neckline, the sleeve length and most of all, the colour. Bronze is having a moment this season too and at that price, you really can't go wrong. So if you're at a loose end today, we recommend a trip to your local Penneys.
