As you'll see below, the shoes were made of satin and featured intricate lace embroidery and they now accompany Kate's dress, which is currently on display at Buckingham Palace.
It seems that the 35-year-old opted for a traditional bridal shoe, in keeping with her dress, rather than try a metallic hue or different colour, trends which are becoming very popular of late.
