Back in 2011, Kate Middleton got married.
She wore a stunning dress, became the Duchess of Cambridge, and everybody talked about it for weeks (or months) on end.
Well, as it turns out, people are still talking about Kate and Will’s wedding six and a half years on, because a lot of them didn’t realise that the Duchess actually wore a second dress on the day.
Or they just didn’t get a look at the dress the first time round.
OR they did get a look at the dress and just forgot about it and now all these years later it feels like the first time they’re seeing it and they’re all talking about it.
Either way, Kate changed out of a dress on her wedding day and put on a new one.
And a cardigan.

Designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, the elusive second dress (that nobody apparently saw) included a lovely diamonte belt and a sweetheart neckline.
Lovely.
Honestly, we’re not at all sure about that cardy Kate but maybe there was a chill in the air that evening in Buckingham Palace?
Maybe someone spilt something down the back of Kate’s dress and she had to stick it on?
Maybe she just likes fluffy garments?
Either way, it’s Kate Middleton, and she’d look great in a black bag, so.
Lots of people are just terribly shocked that they’re only hearing about Duchess Kate’s second wedding dress now.
We don’t know about you, but we remember hearing about (and seeing) this dress all those years ago.
But maybe the dress deserves more attention than it had previously been given.
Maybe this is all a ploy by the royal family to make sure that people remember the second dress, lest it be forgotten.
Either way, unless she had a third wedding dress like SoSuMe, Duchess Kate needs to step her marriage game up.
