Ordering clothes online can be risky business.
As easy as online shopping seems, sometimes it’s hard to know if the fabric will fit properly, sit on your body properly or if the colour will be the same as the one in the advertised picture.
American student Juliet Jacoby found this out the hard way when she ordered a dress for her prom from website Wanelo.com.
Ordering a beautiful red taffeta gown, retailing at €131 ($149), Jacoby rather naively was convinced that she was all set for her big night.
When the dress arrived, the result was a little different from the original picture.
She tweeted what the dress actually looked like when it was delivered, with hilarious consequences.
I probably would’ve lost it a lot a little but the good sport that she is, Juliet Jacoby played around with her new dress for the camera with absolute STUN HUN results.
Twitter users were more than sympathetic to Juliet, offering their condolences:
@jjacoby14 oh wow, how disappointing. The original is a beautiful dress though. So sorry that happened to you.

@jjacoby14 It looks like a Halloween costume you can buy at Walmart ? Sorry girl but good for you for having a great attitude about it.

Juliet, if you’re reading this, you could totally keep the dress and become the salsa dancing emoji for next Hallowe’en?
Or maybe the Irish mammy in me is just stronger than I think…
