Of course, while it’s interesting to see what rules the catwalk, personal taste is most important and only you know what type of dress you want and what you’ll feel most comfortable in on the day.

However, we’re definitely intrigued to see what gowns will land in the bridal boutiques over the next few months and there’s one wedding dress trend already making waves.

At Rime Arodaky, cut-out panels featured in a number of dresses and it’s fair to say that this particular trend is divisive, you’ll either love or hate the look.

Note too that the puff sleeves which have become so popular this fashion season are now translating into bridalwear and we’re into it.

Sleeves are also big at Liz Martinez, the Israeli designer known for her attention to detail and intricate designs.

At a glance, it’s clear that the embellishment and floral appliqué so popular in previous seasons continues as a major trend but there are some new designs too.

While statement sleeves and cut-out detail won’t be for everyone, it’s exciting to see some new and fresh bridal looks for 2020.
