She's an icon in terms of both music and fashion, so we're most shocked that Tina Turner has never graced the cover of Vogue before.
But, not only is Tina's Vogue Germany cover her first, she's also the olderst person to ever appear on the cover of the iconic fashion bible ever!
At 73, Tina is the oldest, followed by Meryl Streep who appeared on the cover of the January 2012 US edition, aged 62.

The magazine which is 120 years old this year, traditionally favours younger covergirls, in particular the latest Hollywood starlet, so it's unclear why they've decided to break from tradition with Tina.
But one thing is for certain - Tina looks amazing, could give younger models a run for their money and is well... simply the best!
We can't wait to see if this is the start of a new Vogue iniative and if the magazine starts to embrace beauty of all ages in the future.
