Ryanair has announced direct Dublin to Lapland flights for winter ‘22

Santa, here we come.

Look, we know that it is a little OTT to start with the Christmas talk when Easter hasn’t even rolled around yet.

But when it comes to travel, especially trips like these, you want to get in early with the booking and planning.

Earlier this month, Ryanair announced that as of winter season 2022, they will be doing direct flights from Dublin to Rovaniemi – Lapland.

And – even better – the tickets are already on sale at Ryanair.com.

With two weekly flights starting from 3rd November, I think we can all agree this is the perfect opportunity to take the trip of a lifetime to the ultimate land of festive cheer.

Located in Finland’s northernmost region, Lapland is, of course, a stunning location filled with magical experiences that kids (big and small) will never forget.

Once there, you can experience a sleigh ride with a real-life reindeer, swap dog walking for husky sledding, stay in a cosy log cabin, see the Northern Lights and last but not least, meet Santa himself together with his team of elves and reindeer.

And while most of us are busy planning sunny getaways for the summer, this might be the time to get cracking on the Lapland trip too – especially since to celebrate the launch of these flights, Ryanair are offering great deals on tickets for travel until the end of January 2023.

“It’s never too early to talk about Christmas, so we’re delighted to announce the launch of our Dublin to Rovaniemi route, operating twice weekly from 3rd November as part of our Irish winter 2022/2023 schedule,” says Ryanair’s Director of Marketing, Digital, Comms and Christmas Cheer, Dara Brady.

“Bring some joy to your little ones this winter with a surprise trip to the home of Christmas magic. With low fares available on Ryanair.com, put a trip to Lapland on the Christmas list this year for an experience the family will never forget.”
