Dublin bridal shop The Town Bride is closing down after 20 years.

The stunning bridal showroom, located on the top floor of the Powerscourt Centre on South William Street, will shut its doors on August 31 as owner Colm Flanagan retires.

For the next week-or-so, The Town Bride will have a massive retirement sale – with sample gowns starting at €350, and 20 percent off new gowns.

The Town Bride has provided the perfect setting with arguably the most stunning bridal showroom in Ireland for brides to be over the last two decades.

Throughout the store, the history of the townhouse visibly shines with the original ceilings and chandeliers left untouched.

Colm Flanagan, owner of The Town Bride, said:

“It hasn’t been an easy decision to shut our doors after 20years however, I think it is time.

“I have loved meeting thousands of brides over the years and seeing the look on their face when they have found the perfect dress.

“I will miss the place of course, but I also look forward to enjoying my retirement.”

Up until the end of the month, brides-to-be can see the last of the stunning gowns – with the remaining sample stock gowns on sale ranging from €350 to €850.

In addition, The Town Bride are offering brides-to-be the option to buy new gowns at 20 per cent off the listed retail price.
