5 blush products from Irish beauty brands we love

Sarah McKenna Barry

Rosey cheeks guaranteed.

The humble blush is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated beauty products out there.

Whether you like to pop on a bit of colour on your cheeks every day, or if you opt for a more experimental approach to the beauty staple, a good quality blush will go a long way. And, while there is an abundance of options to choose from on the global market, many smaller, Irish brands offer excellent blush options that would be right at home on our cheeks.

With that in mind, here are five blush products from homegrown beauty brands that we’re adding to our collection as we speak.

1. Make Me Blush – SoSu by Suzanne Jackson

€9.95

While Irish beauty blogger Suzanne Jackson may be better known for her tanning products, her line is also home to a number of high quality cosmetics. This travel-sized peach blush stick is creamy, and infused with vitamin E to keep your skin hydrated.

2. Love Language Sculpt Stick Blush – KASH Beauty

€18.95

KASH Beauty is the brainchild of the hugely popular beauty TikToker Keilidh Cashell, also known as Keilidh MUA, and this blush is one of the gems of her collection. The stick applicator is dead handy and this lightweight, medium shade is super pigmented, which is key for making an impact.

3. Liquid Lights Rosy Glow Blush – Sculpted by Aimee Connolly

€14

If you’re after a rich blush that will leave your cheeks looking super glowy, then this liquid blush by beauty entrepreneur Aimee Connolly is the one for you. What’s more, as it’s quite rich, a little goes a very long way, so you get plenty of bang for your buck.

4. Cream Blush – AYU Cosmetics

€20

There really is no beating a simple, pink, soft blush, and this product by renowned makeup artist Suzie O’Neill certainly delivers on that front. As well as being super smooth, there is a gentle glow to this blush, which will elevate your everyday makeup look.

5. Pink Rose Cream Blush – Up Cosmetics

€20

If you’re on the market for a lightweight blush that will still leave an impact, then this cream blush from Irish beauty queens Una Tynan and Pippa O’Connor Ormond is the one you want. This product will leave you with a creamy glow, but it’s also very buildable, so pair it with your favourite highlighter if you’re going full glam.
