Beauty Fans - Meet Your New Spiritual Home
If your a fan of foundation or picky about your perfume - you'll want to book a flight very soon.
Not necessarily to go anywhere, mind you.
This week Her.ie paid a visit to the newly revamped The Loop at Dublin Airport.
The Terminal 1 facilities, which had previously paled in comparison to the new and shiny Terminal 2, has had the makeover to end all makeovers - and the beauty hall is the jewel in the crown.
Say hello to Ireland’s largest collection of beauty brands.
Four new fragrance ranges will be added to existing 2,000 strong perfume collection. (With that collection, you could wear a new perfume every day and not repeat one for five and a half years.)
The new additions include two Irish exclusives; the stunning Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Collection and Elie Saab La Collection des Essences - a quartet of luxury unisex fragrances created in collaboration with perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. In case you're not sold yet, you'll also find Armani Privé and Tom Ford Private Blend.
Amongst the new brands in the Loop lineup you'll find Urban Decay - a brand which we've often waxed lyrical about - Aveda and Kiehl's, in addition to old favourites like Jo Malone, Clarins, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Benefit, Crème de la Mer and Chanel.
The big sell? Fragrances are guaranteed to be at least 20 per cent less than downtown prices and the skincare offering is at least 15 per cent less.
Here come the numbers:
- The Loop has Ireland’s largest collection of beauty brands, with 70, including MAC, Clairns, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone, Crème de la Mer and Chanel
- Ireland’s largest collection of fragrances (over 2,100)
- Over 1500 skincare products
- 1652 lipsticks
- 587 eye shadows
- 963 foundations
