Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kits caused a storm in the beauty industry, with people willing to pay over and above to get their hands on a piece from the line.
However, photos posted to Twitter by makeup artist Jeffree Star, have pointed out a glaring issue with the Lip Kit glosses.
Jeffree posted the below photo with the caption: “So I got the new Kylie Cosmetics lip glosses…. SO disappointed in this product. That wand is unacceptable”.

I've seen on her personal Snapchat, that she kinda addressed this issue and said the wand would be better next time… do I get a refund?

So the first customers were just guinea pigs? How is that fair for a consumer to get something shitty and then the next launch its fixed?

Other Twitter users responded with similar images, showing how their Kylie lipgloss wands were also broken.

As he is a respected figure in the American makeup industry, Kylie was quick to respond to the criticism.
Taking time out from her Coachella schedule, the reality TV star posted the below to Instagram.
Explaining that this was an issue with some of the older lip kit brushes, Kylie said that the problem has since been rectified.
Anyone who received one of the dud products will now receive a new one in the post.
Jeffree seemed to be happy with that and tweeted the following:
How ironic that it took ME giving an honest review which got world wide attention, to get @kyliecosmetics to make a statement…

I'm just glad they're finally addressing the issue and fixing it, that's all me and every customer that got those wands, wanted…

There's no beef, I just have a passion for makeup and this industry. Glad the issue is now resolved.
