GHD has launched its most expensive hair straightener - complete with 18k gold
Well, this is very flashy.
When the GHD first arrived onto shelves, we treated it like a child.
We used those special gloves to not burn our fingers, made sure it didn't overheat and placed it perfectly in its heat-protected bag as to not damage it.
Fast forward ten years and it's just another part of the furniture in our household - thrown into bags for overnight trips and used to within an inch of its life.
However, the company's latest invention is a straightener made from 18-carat gold - costs £1,000 (€1,130) - and we definitely won't be throwing it into any overnight bag.
Just LOOK at how pretty it is, though:
Sad news is, there's only 70 in the world, and you can't actually buy them (not that we'd have the money to anyway), but you can win them instead.
The competition launches on February 19, and if you want more info, check out the GHD website here.
