Well, this is very flashy.
When the GHD first arrived onto shelves, we treated it like a child.
We used those special gloves to not burn our fingers, made sure it didn’t overheat and placed it perfectly in its heat-protected bag as to not damage it.
Fast forward ten years and it’s just another part of the furniture in our household – thrown into bags for overnight trips and used to within an inch of its life.
However, the company’s latest invention is a straightener made from 18-carat gold – costs £1,000 (€1,130) – and we definitely won’t be throwing it into any overnight bag.
Just LOOK at how pretty it is, though:

Sad news is, there’s only 70 in the world, and you can’t actually buy them (not that we’d have the money to anyway), but you can win them instead.
