Gwyneth Paltrow has undergone a very glamorous makeover for Max Factor.
The actress, who was married to Coldplay’s Chris Martin, channelled her inner Marilyn Monroe for the shoot in New York and spoke of her joy at landing the campaign, saying she was “honoured to be asked”.
“To me, Max Factor is the most iconic movie make-up of all time so when they asked me to be in the campaign I was thrilled… I love the different character aspect of it all.
“I think that the great icons and stars have an extra quality and I don’t know that I can articulate exactly what it is, but if you look at Audrey Hepburn, Rita Hayworth or Katharine Hepburn, they all have this amazing other worldly quality. There is something mysterious about them that is strong and powerful.”
