Here's Another Hack For Repairing Broken Make-Up

A few weeks ago, we came across a beauty hack that comes in very handy when your favourite make-up compact breaks into teeny tiny fragments.

It can be soul-destroying, and no that’s not dramatic, especially if you’ve just splashed the cash.

We now have another hack that will get the product back in working order, even if it doesn’t look quite as pretty as before.

Simply add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to the powder/eyeshadow/blusher/bronzer that’s broken.

Be careful not to add too much, just enough to form a paste like texture and then use a blunt knife to flatten it.

Let it dry overnight and the smell of alcohol will soon evaporate so you can use it the next day...*YAY*

As mentioned by Luna at Hip2Save, it won’t look brand new but it will work and that’s the most important factor.

Of course, it would be better if we could avoid breaking make-up altogether but this hack is definitely worth a go for the occasions when it does happen.
