Rose-gold hair is shaping up to be summer’s hottest hair trend but it might not be for everyone.
If your locks are dark but you really want to get on board with the trend, you need to be really sure before going about it.
Colourist Amelia Tramell recently spoke to Style Caster and explained that rose gold is no biggie for blondes but it’s a huge change for brunettes.
If blondes want to try the pinkish hue, it’s no major issue, and just involves a “tonal change”.
For brunettes, however, it’s what the expert describes as a “heavy lift” as you’re going from a dark colour to an entirely different shade altogether.
So, if you’re a brunette and you want to get involved, you need to be sure before committing to the trend as it involves a bit of work.
Ashley Tisdale recently debuted her rose gold hair (pictured above) and it’s a gorgeous example of the trend.
Looking at these images are almost enough to convince me that I need rose gold hair in my life even if my locks are dark brown – FAB.
