Irish Women are Lax When it Comes to Skin Care Compared to Their Asian Counterparts

Skin care can sometimes be the last thing on the mind of an Irish girl and a new study has proven that we do not care for our skin as much as our Asian counterparts.

The study, which was conducted by Vichy in China* showed that Asian women take their skin care very seriously and lather on five to eight products per day to keep their skin in tip top shape.

Vichy conducted a survey comparing the skin care routines of Irish women and Asian women

However, the study showed that Irish women* do not invest as much time into their skin, and only incorporate three to five products into their skin care regime every day.

The survey showed that Asian women use a wider range of products than us Irish, including make-up remover, eye creams, face serum, SPF, pore refining and deep cleansing masks and thermal spa water.

Asian women treat themselves to facial massages more than Irish women

A third of Irish women use less than three skin care products everyday while a mere one per cent of women use a minimum of ten.
