Kate Nails It With New Rimmel Collection And We Can’t Wait To Get Our Hands On The Whole Lot!

Appropriately named after Kate’s favourite types of music – she does have a penchant for rock stars and fancies herself as a bit of a singer after all – the range of colours include a dark glossy green that will make a great alternative to classic red and some bang-on-trend nude shades if you’re after that hot off the runway look.

Speaking at the launch held in London, the model revealed to Grazia magazine that she's a dab hand at giving herself a DIY mani on the go and loves how her new range gives glossy salon results without having to prep and prime.

“I'm a girl on the go, I don't have time to paint a base coat, polish and top coat” she said.

“I have my nails changed practically every day for work, so when I do them myself I want to do it quickly.

“I'm a pro at painting my own nails, I've learnt from the best and have picked up some good tips along the way. The most important part of a polish for me is the brush. It has to give me enough polish in one swipe or it becomes streaky. That's why I love the brush so much on this one. And I don't have to paint it more than once which is ideal.”

And although she was sporting an on-trend reverse French manicure with contrast half moon the mum-of-one usually shies away from nail art and opts for more classic colours instead and has only one real bugbear when it comes polishes.

“I'd never match my nails to lipstick, or have a matching mani-pedi. I tend to keep my toes nude most of the time unless I've got a tanned foot and then I'll do a bright coral. I love a tan, think all girls do...”
