MAC senior artist tells us her hero product and we completely agree

There's no denying that makeup brand MAC has a cult following and some of the hero products have stood the test of time.

I chatted with senior MAC artist Rebecca Butterworth previously and one of the questions I just had to ask was what she would choose as her all-time favourite product. Without hesitation, Rebecca opted for MAC Prep + Prime Fix (€22) and the main reason for this is its versatility. Rebecca explains:

"I think I can use it in at least ten different ways in a makeup application. It’s an incredible skin hydrator when you spritz in on after moisturising, before makeup. It also helps to finish and fix your look when you apply at the end of your make up application. "I use it to make eyeshadows more intense (especially metallic or frost texture) by spritzing on the brush before applying. I use it to make cream foundations like MAC Studio Tech (€36.50) even more hydrating and flexible. I’ve even used it as a hair spritz to create lovely soft beachy waves".
