Smoked marshmallow hair is here and it is BEAUT.

There's a new hair trend for 2019 and it is truly gorgeous. If you're not blonde already, you're going to want to change your hair asap because well, just take a look. Smoked marshmallow gets its name from s'mores as the dark roots of this hairstyle are just like the burnt crisp of a marshmallow. CUTE. Better still, it's designed to be a "lived-in" look so there's no major high-maintenance upkeep involved. This new style was dreamed up by colourist Megan Martinez and yeah, she knows her stuff. Meghan sounds like the perfect stylist too for she understands that while you might want to go blonde, maintaining the colour can be extremely expensive and time heavy too. Chatting to Allure about the new trend, she said:

"Sometimes you don’t have time to upkeep your roots, so when you have a beautiful blend you have a little bit more leeway,"

Speaking to Glamour, Amy Clark a stylish at Rob Peetoom Salon in Brooklyn, New York, gave her take on the new and rather gorgeous hair colour.

"Because of the intentionally brown root, this is a great option for those who prefer a low-maintenance balayage trend or whose hair might be damaged from previous color jobs."

This particular colour is a cool-tone blonde but with darker roots so if you're someone that can't manage to spare the time for regualr salon appointments but still want a gorge new look, this might be for you. It also works really well for anyone who has been thinking about going blonde but doesn't want the effort of having to keep up appointments for highlights every six weeks.
