It’s fair to say that eyebrows are the focal point of the face.
With celebrities such as Cara Delevingne, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Margot Robbie having such perfect, groomed brows, it’s hard not to look at pictures and feel even a little brow envy.
With many of us spending considerable chunks of money on treatments and tools to try and darken and lengthen our brows, it’s nearly a full-time job trying to make your eyebrows look anything like those of a Kardashian.
One beauty blogger has come up with her own way of thickening her brows and we’re not quite sure whether to laugh or cry. Australian vlogger Stephanie Lange has taken matters of the brow into her own hands and taken to glueing strands of her own hair on her face.
Even more shocking than that, the beauty mogul tries the idea for the first time on camera and it’s so weird to watch.
Explaining her inspiration behind the unusual practice of gluing hair to her face, Stephanie says
“Like most teenagers, I over-plucked them so much that they now no longer grow back.
“I’ve tried brow tattooing before, and I’ve tried pretty much everything else there is to make my actual eyebrow hairs grow back, but nothing has really worked for me.”
She tells of how she first thought of putting false eyelashes on her brows, but the colour didn’t suit.
“My false lashes are all black, and black would have looked pretty dark considering my hair color…
“So then, I got the bright idea of snipping off some of my own hair and sticking it [on] my face as eyebrows”.
She begins cutting her hair, chopping them down to size and applies the hairs and if you don’t believe me, watch the video.
