Style your brows into shape.

Brows are big news and having chatted to a few beauty professionals recently, it seems that brow products are topping mascara in terms of popularity. The brow craze shows no sign of slowing down and given that the perfect arch can properly transform your look, it's no surprise that we're all on the same quest. With that in mind, we spoke to Benefit's National Brow Artist, Katie Tiernan and she tells us that the feathered brow is the only way to go for summer 2017. It's natural yet strong, bold but wearable, and very much on trend this season. If you search the Instagram hashtag #featheredbrows, it looks a little intense as you'll see from this piece, but Katie has explained how you can tone this look down and adjust it to your personal brow preference.

The first step is to get rid of stray hairs, whatever your preferred method of removal, waxing, threading, plucking etc. Then you'll need to brush your brows up, a key step when it comes to this look. Next is to fill in your brows but there are specific instructions here. Use short strokes to add thickness with Katie recommending the Benefit Precisely, My Brow pencil for this step.

"Then add the magic touch…a few small, nearly invisible dots at the hair roots to enhance texture".

Now that you've brushed your brows, filled them in and amped up the texture, you need to set "the high-flying hairs". Make sure you coat the hairs from root to tip with a brow setting gel as that will set your feathered brow in place for a look that lasts. As Katie says, you can use more product for a going-out look and tread lightly for day-to-day wear.
