Tried and tested: are GLAMGLOW face masks worth the money?

They’re not cheap, lads.

There’s nothing I love more than sitting back on a Friday evening with some Netflix and a face mask.

Actual bliss.

However, usually my face masks are the regular lads that cost a tenner or so.

In my head, they’re just one of those things you enjoy for relaxation, rather than using them for actual benefits.

Despite that, I’ve always been very intrigued by GLAMGLOW, ever since I heard Nina Dobrev was a fan.

That was 2012 btw.

Fast forward six years and I FINALLY tried the masks.

And let me tell you, they are genuinely wort the hype.

I tried one of the GLAMGLOW favourites, the supermud.

Before you do anything, make sure to cleanse and tone your lovely face.

There shouldn’t be a sniff of makeup lurking around, the cleaner your face is, the better the mask will act.

I lashed on a nice amount of the grey-coloured mask to my face, and sat back for 20 minutes.

I noticed that my face got quite tight as the mask dried and hardened – perfectly normal lads.

After a relaxing period of lying down and listening to Drake, the mask was ready to wash off.

I used a face cloth, and rinsed my skin using warm water.

As soon as I looked in the mirror, I noticed my face was a little red. Again, perfectly normal.

The purpose of this mask is to detoxify the skin, so it would be perfectly normal to witness a little redness.

I popped on a bit of moisturiser, and went to bed (at 9pm because I’m class).

The next morning, my skin was genuinely super clear, and I had a proper glow to my skin.

In fact, I didn’t touch makeup for three days after the mask, because I was feelin’ myself so much.

Listen, the mask is a little pricey (45 quid), but honestly worth the investment!

You can get them here, and sure, you won’t regret it.
