Make-up fans might enjoy this feature.

Pretty packaging, hero products, must-have purchases…make-up is a subject we could spend hours chatting about.

Everyone has their tried and tested buys and in a bid to find out more about the best way to get bang for your buck, we decided it was time to call in a little expertise.

Beauty bloggers make it their business to trial run products and are up to date with the latest releases before they even hit the shelves.

In a new weekly feature, we’re going to quiz beauty bloggers on their make-up essentials and why these are the products they return to time and time again.

This week, we’re quizzing blogger Hannah Christie on her make-up must haves.

Skin Base Preparation

To make my foundation glide on flawlessly I always follow the below steps.

First, I rub in a pea size amount of Lancôme’s VISIONNAIRE advance skin corrector and give that a few moments to dry into my skin.

Then I moisturise with the Garnier’s Skin Naturals Moisture Match Goodbye Dry cream.

After this, I prime my face using L’Oreal’s Nude Magique Blur Cream.  All these products leave my skin soft and ensure the perfect base for foundation.

Skin Base

My favourite foundation to use is MAC’s Studio Sculpt Foundation in NW20 as it’s perfect for combination skin and really does last all day.

To contour, I use Collection 2000’s Illuminating Touch Concealer in shade “light” and highlight under my eyes and on the highest points on my face.

If you want to get that “Kim Kardashian” look, I do so by using Nars’ Matte Multiple Stick in shade “Cappadoce” and then I blend everything together using a beauty sponge.

I set my foundation and contouring with Rimmel’s Stay Matte Power and to add extra definition and colour to my face I use Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer.

I finish off by highlighting my face with the highlight shade in the Urban Decay’s Flushed palette.

Eyes

My go to eyeshadow palette at the moment is Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess eyeshadow palette.

I define my eyes using the darkest brown shade, and then I sweep the medium brown toned shadow over my lids.

To finish I highlight the inner corners of my eyes using the lightest highlight shade. I coat my lashes with Maybelline’s Lash Sensational mascara.

Lips

Make-up to me is not complete without doing your lips!  They are my “Holy Grail” products.

For an everyday look I line my lips using NYX’s lip liner in the shade “Mauve”. To fill in my lips I use MAC’s velvet teddy which is my all-time favourite lipstick.
