It truly is a case of life imitating art with the new Zenbo home robot from computer company Asus about to make it's way into our lives at the neat price of €537 ($599).
Yes, you heard right folks - there's a new home robot on its way to read children bedtime stories, aid older relatives, stream movies online and make video calls.
Jonney Shih, CEO of Asus demonstrated the abilities of Zenbo at a recent press conference and conversed with the robot onstage, asking the robot could it take pictures among other questions.
The eery thing is, Zenbo looks extremely like Wall-E. While the idea of a home robot sounds incredibly futuristic, what if Zenbo were to turn bad?
