American-style diner chain is set to expand its Irish roots to Europe this year – with plans to open outlets in Spain and Germany.
Founder Niall Fortune told Newstalk that the company have appointed country managers in both Germany and Spain, with recruitment ongoing.
The Irish chain, which currently feeds happy customers in 36 restaurants across Ireland, also hope to open 20 new restaurants throughout the country this year. It is believed they will look to raise €2m through crowd funding for their Irish expansion plans.
The diner, which first opened in Dublin in 1989, currently have 36 restaurants in Ireland - 14 of which are owned by the company with a further 22 stores operating as franchises.
A UK expansion is also expected, following the successful launch of a diner in Newry last year.
