Galway is set for a major jobs investment, with one of the world’s leading app-development software companies, SmartBear, creating 100 roles over the next five years.
SmartBear Software’s technology is now used by more than two million software professionals worldwide when building apps.
Ireland's Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation is also supporting the Galway investment.
Speaking at the jobs announcement, Doug McNary, CEO of SmartBear Software said:
“We were impressed by Galway’s vibrant ICT cluster, pro-business environment and attractive lifestyle. This, coupled with the support of IDA Ireland, makes Galway the perfect choice for SmartBear.”
The positions will be across inside sales, marketing, customer support, operations, finance and software development.
