Britney Spears shares unseen photo of burned down gym as she ‘reflects’ on the 2020 incident

Britney uploaded a snap showing the serious damage

The superstar captioned her post: “Reflecting back remembering when I burnt the gym down in 2020,” with a winking emoji.

The 42-year-old confirmed at the time of the incident that she had in fact been responsible for her gym burning down - but detailed photos had never been shared.

The picture uploaded shows the room with serious damage and dust everywhere as well as remnants of the equipment.

At the time of the fire, Britney wrote on Instagram and said: “Yes …. I burnt it down. I walked past the door to the gym and flames, BOOM !!!!!!”

She explained: “By the Grace of God the alarm went off after that and yippy hoorah nobody got hurt.

"Unfortunately, now I have only two pieces of equipment left lol and a one-sided mirror gym!!!!!

"But it could be much worse so I’m grateful. Pssss I like working out better outside anyways!!!!"

Alongside her lengthy caption, Britney also posted a video in which she said: "I’m in my gym right now.

"I haven’t been in here for like six months because I burnt my gym down. Unfortunately. I had two candles, and, yeah, one thing lead to another, and I burnt it down.

"So, I’m in here and we only have two pieces of equipment left."
