He tore the house down in 2014 when he headlined alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers. Now, it looks as though Bruno Mars could be heading back to the Superbowl Half Time Show.

The event is one of the most-watched gigs worldwide and 2016 will be an extra special year, as the NFL will be celebrating 50 years of the sporting spectacle.

Today, Entertainment Weekly reports that the Uptown Funk singer has been offered the headline spot for a second time.

His potential return to the stage would follow Katy Perry’s 2015 show, which formed part of the most-watched television programme in the history of the United States.

Super Bowl 50 halftime show will take place in Santa Clara, California, on February 7, 2016.
