Channel 5 Confirm They Will Not Tell Angie Bowie About David’s Death On Camera

With the shocking news about David Bowie dying, some people’s attention turned to Celebrity Big Brother where David’s first wife, Angie, is currently living.

There was an outcry on social media for Channel 5 not to share the news of David’s passing with Angie live on television.

Channel 5 have since responded and confirmed that Angie ‘will be informed off camera’. They shared the news on Twitter saying:

Following the very sad news of David Bowie’s death, we can confirm Angie will be informed off camera today at the earliest opportunity.

The couple, who divorced in 1980, have one child together, Duncan, who confirmed the news this morning about his dad.
