Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has suffered a nasty burn injury while filming auditions for The X Factor.
The I Don’t Care singer was backstage at Wembley Arena when she reportedly stood on a hair straightener and burned her foot.
Auditions were delayed up an hour as the star received medical treatment and had to be helped to her seat by security before resuming work with fellow judges Simon Cowell, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora.
While the injury sounds pretty painful, Cowell wasted no time in joking about her “embarrassing” faux-pas.
“Cheryl may only have one leg by the time we hit the live show,” he told fans at the arena.
