Huge congratulations are in order!
Former Love Island contestant Cara de la Hoyde has given birth to her first child with boyfriend Nathan Massey.
The couple, who won the second series of Love Island, welcomed a baby boy in the early hours of December 13.
And the proud new dad couldn’t resist sharing snap from behind the scenes in the delivery room.
Nathan confirmed the news on with an Instagram post on Wednesday, adding that the couple were looking forward to “the next chapter”.

He captioned the photo:
“The day has finally come !!!! Myself and @cara_delahoyde have become parents to our beautiful baby boy !!!
“Massive hats off to Cara Who delivered our boy safely !!!!! #thenextchapter??? P.S I hope you don’t kill me for the pic Cara.”
Meanwhile, new mum Cara shared her own simple and sweet announcement on Twitter – with an emoji of a woman cradling a baby next to a blue heart.

The pair, who won the 2016 series of the ITV2 dating show, announced they were expecting their first child together in May of this year – weeks after confirming their split.
They explained at the time of their split that they had no plans to get back together.
But months later, they confirmed they were giving their relationship another go, just weeks before the birth of their little boy.
