Daniel Radcliffe won’t be appearing in Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The actor appeared at Comic Con last weekend to promote his new film Victor Frankenstein and said: “I still get people saying, “Are there going to be any more movies?” And now I can say, “There are actually are”.
However, he then went on to say that he wouldn’t be taking part in any of the spin-off films, destroying the hopes of his many fans in the process.
“But I’m not going to be in them. And they’re like, “Oh sorry,” and I’m like, “They’re set in the past. Don’t worry about it!”
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, which will be released in November 2016, stars Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller and Katherine Waterston.
