OH MY GOD.

Congrats are in order today folks.

Famous DJ Tiësto has married his long term girl friend, model Annika Backes.

The couple tied the knot at the remote luxury resort Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah on September 21st.

They first met back in 2015 when they were introduced through mutual friends.

Three years later Tiësto, 50, proposed to the model, 23, during a luxurious holiday in the Maldives.

Apparently, they toyed with the idea of a Las Vegas wedding, but decided on Amangiri, a place close to their hearts.

The celebration was lavish, obviously, but the DJ didn’t perform – which is fair enough like.

Instead, DJ Coleman was in charge of music for the big day.

Speaking about the choice of DJ, Tiësto said:

“We wanted to find a DJ that could accommodate any taste. He created a vibe that worked for all of our guests. We didn’t want a band because as a DJ you’re a lot more flexible and can adjust to any situation.”

“That’s why I love doing it in the first place! I also like lots of genres of music that I’m not able to play in my own sets, so that was another reason to hire this particular DJ. He can play all my favourite artists, which include anything from Kanye West to indie pop-rock and ballads.”

And while that’s all lovely, really we’re here to talk about one thing, and one thing only – THE DRESS.

Oh my days the dress!

Vogue reports Annika wore two dresses for her big day and enlisted the help of fashion houses Oscar de la Renta and Berta.

“Originally, I wanted to wear the Oscar during the ceremony and the Berta for the after-party. But after going back a few times for tailoring, I switched it around,” she said.

Speaking about the Berta dress, Annika said:

“The sparkle of the Berta in contrast with the backdrop of the natural desert during our ceremony felt like exactly the aesthetic we were going for.”

The Oscar de la Renta dress was a tulle gown with hand-painted organza florals and embroidered leaves – and it was pure magic.

Big congrats to the happy couple!
