Congrats! EastEnders’ Jacqueline Jossa is expecting her second child

Keeley Ryan

EastEnders’ Jacqueline Jossa has announced she is expecting her second child with her husband, Dan Osborne.

The 25-year-old, who plays Lauren Branning on the BBC soap, admitted that the pregnancy was a “huge shock” for the pair – and that she took three pregnancy tests before she believed the results.

She told OK Magazine:

“We both started laughing when the test was positive. We took two more just to be sure!”

The couple are already parents to two-year-old Ella Selina.

Former TOWIE star Dan, who also has a four-year-old son named Teddy from a  previous relationship, told how he was feeling “quite scared” about soon becoming a dad-of-three.

He added:

“We hadn’t been trying so it was a huge shock. I think I’m still getting my head around it. Kids are a blessing but having three children is going to be a big responsibility.

“I’m not going to lie, I feel quite scared!”

It comes as EastEnders fans learned that the actress is exiting the BBC soap, with the 25-year-old revealed earlier this week that her final scenes will air next month.

Lauren is currently recovering after she and her sister Abi fell from the roof of the Queen Vic on Christmas Day.

Abi sustained more serious injuries in the fall and remains on a life-support machine, which is due to be turned off during the episode on January 19.

Meanwhile, fans are wondering if Lauren’s exit will  see her move to Glasgow – which she had previously planned to do before that night.
