Kylie’s latest horror movie-inspired beauty collection drops on Tuesday.

Kylie Jenner is well and truly embracing spooky season with her latest Halloween-themed make-up collection, Kylie X Nightmare on Elm Street.

In two new promotional images shared to her Instagram on Monday, the star posed nude, dripping in fake blood, against a white backdrop.

Many fans took to the comments to criticise the 24-year-old for posting the gory images, with some even saying her promotional campaign goes against Instagram community guidelines.

“This needs a warning,” one user wrote.

“I find this kind of disturbing since you’re pregnant. That’s just my opinion though. Doesn’t matter,” another said.

“Girl you are so talented and can’t believe you set yourself so low. You have so much talent and let others ruin it… it’s such a disturbing picture. You can do better,” a third user said.

“This is in such poor taste, ugh,” another unhappy fan added.

“How the hell does this promote make-up?” a fifth user commented.

Many others went on to refer to the images as “satanic” and “demonic”, while others said she was glorifying violence.

The collection features an eyeshadow palette with 12 Freddy Kreuger-inspired shades, a lip lacquer set, limited edition false eyelashes, and a lip and cheek jelly stain.

Kylie previously shared a teaser video for her new line on Twitter, which shows her caressing her blood-drenched body, as the haunting chant from the Nightmare on Elm Street movie plays on a loop in the background. Watch the video here – but be warned there’s a lot of blood.

The star celebrated the new collection’s launch party on Monday night, sharing snaps with fans through her Instagram stories.

Kylie turned her home into a horror movie set, with blood-spattered tables, candles, and rose petals as well iconic props from the Nightmare on Elm Street movie – like Freddy Kreugers’ glove and the Elm Street sign.

Kylie X Nightmare on Elm Street is set for release on 12 October.
