Celebrities feel lonely too, guys.

We tend to forget that even though celebrities have loads of money and huge houses, a lot of the time, they don’t spend a lot of time in them.

Lockdown for the rich and famous would be quite strange, and although a lot of celebrities do seem to live amazing, pain-free lives, some of them can still struggle like us. Life this year hasn’t been easy for anyone, so no matter what your status, everyone is fighting their own battle.

Sam Smith is one of those celebrities. The singer struggled with the UK’s first lockdown earlier this year, sharing their experience on social media to a small amount of criticism.

The singer recently revealed they actually had a “meltdown” back in March when they found themselves at home with nothing to do other than stay there.

Speaking on The One Show last night, they explained: “Yeah, I found it hard, I’ve been travelling for eight years and I hadn’t been in my house for more than three weeks in eight years.

“I was living with my sister, and I’m still going to be with her in the next four weeks.”

Sam said during the last lockdown when they were living with his sister, she “helped me out and we buckled down and did fun stuff. But it’s a weird time.”

Now, thankfully Sam seems to be seeing the positive side of things. “It’s been good for me to have a break,” they said.

And as for releasing an album during a pandemic Sam says although it’s been a “weird” experience, but “it’s been wonderful all the same.”

The 28 year old has been very open as of late speaking about their desire for a relationship and dating in London. They also stated that they are open to starting a family and that they can’t wait “to be a mummy.”
