Maura Higgins got dirty this weekend – Christina Aguilera style.
Halloween was a bit different this year. There were no parties and no trick or treating, but it was nice to see that some people still dressed up in the comfort of their own homes (or at secret Halloween parties taking place during a pandemic, that weren’t so secret in the end).
There were some brilliant costumes popping up on my Insta feed over the weekend. Lockdown clearly gave people extra time to think about how best to spend their night.
This year, celebrities might have made even more of an effort with their costumes. Maybe less parties mean more effort put into outfits – which we’re not entirely against either.

The Weeknd may have just won Halloween dressed as The Nutty Professor.
He is the image of Eddie Murphy’s character from the famous movie. He even put up videos of himself dancing around, full Nutty style. Incredible.

Little Mix’s Jesy looked amazing as a Baphomet – the makeup was unreal, so there’s no doubt she had a little help with that!
The singer posted some very cool pics on Insta over the festivities as she rocked the half-human half-goat mythical devil worshipper look.

Every year this lady goes all out for Halloween and this year was no different.
Instead of having her annual party this year, the model made a horror film. She played a zombie in her flick and got the whole family involved. Now that is dedication!
