Good luck Stephanie!

Irish golfer Stephanie Meadows could be scooping a Major tonight,  sitting just four shots off the lead ahead of tonight’s final round of the US Women’s Open at Pinehurst.

The 22-year old from Antrim is following in the footsteps of golfing legends Padraig Harrington, Graeme McDowell and Rory McIlroy, and has secured her place just four shots back of joint leaders Michelle Wie and Amy Yang.

The Royal Portrush member will compete against Wie – arguably one of the biggest names in the sport despite never winning a Major, and Yang who holds nine Top 10 finishes in Majors without ever winning one.

This is also Meadow’s first event as a pro.

Tee time will be 6.30pm our time, with the event being broadcast on Sky Sports 4.
