Kerry Katona’s harsh words as she ‘wasn’t invited’ to Atomic Kitten anniversary show

Jade Hayden

Kerry Katona has said she is “so upset” that she wasn’t invited to the Atomic Kitten 20th anniversary show.

The former bandmate said that she doesn’t know what she has done “to upset them so much” and that she knows “the girls don’t want me there.”

Atomic Kitten’s founding members were Kerry, Liz McClarnon, and Heidi Range, who was later replaced by Natasha Hamilton.

Kerry quit the band just before their number one single ‘Whole Again’ was released. She was replaced Jenny Frost.

Kerry took to Instagram last night so share a photo of the band’s poster apparently detailing that they will have their 20th anniversary tour this June.

She said that she was “soooo upset” to not have been invited.

She wrote:

“Atomic kitten celebrating their 20th anniversary and I’ve not been invited!!!! I’m soooo upset!!!

“Absolutely gutted the founder member is not allowed to go to her own band and the girls don’t want me there!!! And I still don’t know what it is I’ve done to upset them so much!!!”

She also tagged remaining members Natasha and Liz and told them to “have a great anniversary” and to “stay blessed.”

Grim.

However, Natasha eventually took to social media herself to clear a few things up, saying that Atomic Kitten weren’t celebrating their own 20th anniversary, but the 20th anniversary of the venue they’re playing in.

Ah. We see.

The singer tweeted” “Just a bit of clarity for the unnecessary drama unfolding on social today – me and @LizMcClarnon are excited to perform at #CheeseAndGrain for THEIR 20th anniversary! See bottom left hand side of flyer.”

Makes sense, we guess.

Kerry had previously made her feelings towards Natasha very clear when she called her a “toxic c*nt” on stage.

Later, Natasha addressed the statement telling the Star magazine that she knows what Kerry’s like on stage.

She said:

“[Kerry] said some horrible things about me. I know what Kerry’s like on stage. She puts on this act and she says things. It is what it is, but it wasn’t cool and I wanted an apology – but the apology never came.

“Then [Kerry] announced she was no longer part of Atomic Kitten, even though me and Liz had never even had a conversation with her about it.”

All a bit of a mess really, isn’t it?
