Kim defends Khloé after she was criticised for going out amid cheating scandal

Earlier this week, reports emerged that Tristan Thompson, Khloé’s now-former boyfriend, had cheated on her with Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s BFF.

And while there have been a lot of insiders talking about what has been supposedly going on, the Kardashian-Jenner family have remained pretty quiet about it all.

Until now, that is.

Kim Kardashian leapt to her younger sister’s defence after a Twitter user criticised her for “going outside the next day” after she was publicly cheated on.

Khloé attended a PrettyLittleThing event with her BFF Malika Haqq on Wednesday evening, a little more than 24 hours after the news of scandal broke.

Following the Twitter user’s criticism, Kim replied that “a single mom has to work too”, asking the person “would you prefer she lose the money, too?”

She added:

“This was a professional commitment planned far in advance and you better believe she is not waiting on anyone to pay her bills or provide for her daughter.”

It comes as an insider told E! Online about how the Kardashian-Jenner family were feeling about the whole thing – especially Kylie and Khloé.

The source said that while the whole family is “writing Jordyn off,” Kylie has been “very torn on how to handle the situation” and had been “in denial for days.”

They added that Khloé is in “disbelief” about the situation – although more because she is “disappointed someone so close to their family would betray her.”

The mum is said to have found out about Tristan and Jordyn’s alleged hookup on  Monday, before she confronted the athlete about the rumours.

A second source told the publication that Thompson tried to deny it – although Khloé “doesn’t believe him for a second.”

The other insider added:

“She is angry more than she is sad. And she’s shocked Jordyn would do this. Of all the guys in the world, she can’t fathom why Jordyn would make a decision like this.

“Khloe is reliving the worst kind of betrayal and pain all over again.”
